As a teacher I would approach copyright and fair use by being sure and checking the copyright on anything materials I use. I would be sure to pull from public domain cites. When teaching students, I would be sure to show them how to make sure they are not using copyrighted content wrong on any presentation assignment they may have. I have learned how to copyright my own work. I have never thought or knew how to do that.
The technology implementation issue of academic dishonesty could be fixed by several things. In an online exam setting, tools like Honorlock would be very helpful. Implementing AI into classrooms is a very interesting idea. As times are changing it is important to change with them. AI can be a great tool for students to understand things that are not initially clicking for them and help form ideas they have already started. I think AI, when used right, can help immensely in education. There are softwares to keep students from totally abusing it.
The newsletter design assignment taught me a lot of new things. It was my first time putting a Canva design in a Word doc, and I am happy to know how to do that now. There were also several aspects of Word that I had not used. I had never used the fancy font or column tools before. In the future, I would like to make my newsletter more concise. I can use the new ways to use word in my future career.
