 I started using instagram when I was around fourteen. I have little to no experience with Twitter, and I created my account for this class. I interact a lot with health and news accounts on Instagram. It is an easy and free way to stay informed on current events, figures, and trends. Twitter could possibly be helpful in my future career as a great way to keep up with important figures and institutions in real time. Most professional have and use Twitter accounts, so I can follow and keep up with what is happening in my field. 

The digital divide causes kids at school to be divided based on who has better access to software and technology. It also makes students with limited access to tech, wifi, and superior software disadvantaged with learning. Some causes of the digital divide are income and area(geography). As a teacher, not every students will have the same level of technology access and it is my responsibility to ensure that there are ways to do assignment without technology. Also, in the current age, almost all schools have a computer lab, and I would use some class time for computer usage. 

Two software tools I would like to have in my classroom would be Kahoot! and Quizziz. These are both interactive learning softwares. They would be used mainly in the classroom where all the students will have access to the school computers, preventing the digital divide. They are also just great ways of actively learning the class material and getting comfortable with technology.

      I learned a lot of new things through the Web Design Assignment, because I have never done that before.  A big design principle I wanted to ensure I used was clarity. I wanted to ensure that all the necessary information was clearly laid out and easy to find. Since it was also for a younger grade, I wanted there to be a lot of pictures and visually interesting things as well. I liked the whole assignment because it taught me how to make a website and incorporate fun aspects to it.
