 I have had a decent amount of experience as a distance learner. I was fully online during COVID and the year after. I returned to in person classes for my last two year of high school. I enjoy the flexibility of distance learning. Yet, I feel as if it can be more difficult to teach and learn. There is more responsibility on students to put in the work, which can be challenging with younger students. As a teacher, I would improve distance learning experience through interactive assignments and providing lots of resources to help. OER's are like a public library online. They are tools, websites, and resources anyone can access and use. This article on OER's shows how helpful and underused OER'S are.       I learned a lot of new things through the Web Design Assignment, because I have never done that before.  A big design principle I wanted to ensure I used was clarity. I wanted to ensure that all the necessary information was clearly laid out and easy to find. Since it was also for a younger grade, I wanted there to be a lot of pictures and visually interesting things as well. I liked the whole assignment because it taught me how to make a website and incorporate fun aspects to it.
