I have had a decent amount of experience as a distance learner. I was fully online during COVID and the year after. I returned to in person classes for my last two year of high school. I enjoy the flexibility of distance learning. Yet, I feel as if it can be more difficult to teach and learn. There is more responsibility on students to put in the work, which can be challenging with younger students. As a teacher, I would improve distance learning experience through interactive assignments and providing lots of resources to help.

OER's are like a public library online. They are tools, websites, and resources anyone can access and use. This article on OER's shows how helpful and underused OER'S are. It explains how they are high quality and invaluable tools that allow anyone to succeed.

I have not begun the second power point assignment, but I did really enjoy the first.
While working on the power point assignment 4, I learned several new tools. Specifically, how to use speaker notes and create my own slide layout. It was simple and easy once I figure out how it was done. I liked my presentation, and the main thing I would change is using better pictures that are more fun.
