      I learned a lot of new things through the Web Design Assignment, because I have never done that before.  A big design principle I wanted to ensure I used was clarity. I wanted to ensure that all the necessary information was clearly laid out and easy to find. Since it was also for a younger grade, I wanted there to be a lot of pictures and visually interesting things as well. I liked the whole assignment because it taught me how to make a website and incorporate fun aspects to it.       On the school website I found there is a list of teacher names that once clicked on lead to another page. All teachers have a short bio and picture on the page. It shows who they are, what they like/teach, and where they went to school. These teacher pages also all have contact information.  I really enjoy using Diigo. After the technical issues with getting signed up, it has been extremely easy to use. The software installed really quickly and it has been very convenient to use on any website. I like the annotating feature and how it can be used on any website. My experience with blogging has also been very easy. It is a fun way of engaging with the course material. The blogging site is simple to use. I really enjoy getting to look at other students' experience with the course material as well. It is a great tool in an online class for keeping a sense of community.  I started using instagram when I was around fourteen. I have little to no experience with Twitter, and I created my account for this class. I interact a lot with health and news accounts on Instagram. It is an easy and free way to stay informed on current events, figures, and trends. Twitter could possibly be helpful in my future career as a great way to keep up with important figures and institutions in real time. Most professional have and use Twitter accounts, so I can follow and keep up with what is happening in my field.  The digital divide causes kids at school to be divided based on who has better access to software and technology. It also makes students with limited access to tech, wifi, and superior software disadvantaged with learning. Some causes of the digital divide are income and area(geography).  For the Florida Computer Science Standards for grades K-2, the communication and collaboration is the first standard. This standard aims to ensure students are able to use and identify the basic technological data bases. It also wants to make sure students can effectively communicate with others online(i.e. through email). I feel mostly prepared to implement this, because I am very familiar and comfortable using online databases and forms of online communication.  For Grade 2 ELA, CPALMS gives several resources. These resources include lesson plans and research pages that help students learn about important figures, ideas, and events. I could use these resources in my teaching through the interactive pages. Students, especially at such a young age, learn very well through interactive and visual methods.
